Boom Chicago's Theatre on the Rozengracht was the first major cinema built in Amsterdam in 1913, almost ten years before Tuschinski. The warm, industrial space has since been transformed into three theaters with a bar and catering facilities. The complex includes dressing rooms, offices, and breakout spaces. Behind the scenes, the facilities are modern. The heating, air conditioning, and wifi were replaced in 2022. The main theater accommodates 350 seated and has 400 standing spaces. The capacity of the theater on the upper floor is 120, and the attic theater accommodates up to 35. The funky bar Boom Chicago features high ceilings, original stained glass windows, and an event space for 15-150 people.
