SALON as the transparent intermediary
Salon facilitates discovery. The venue provides the rental location. The organiser hosts the Event.
Our Marketplace Model Salon operates as an intermediary marketplace and earns revenue solely from clearly disclosed platform service fees. No sign up, no subscription fees.
On Enquiry only, Salon facilitates discovery and introduction; booking, contracting and payment take place directly between Venue and Organiser. Salon takes no part, so Organisers pay nothing — no fee and no deposit. Venues pay a 10% service fee on bookings that result from a Salon introduction. Payment, Cancellation and other Event related terms are as agreed between the Venue and the Organiser. Salon's policies do not govern the Event or the agreement.
On Calendar Booking, Salon facilitates discovery, contracting and payment: Organisers pay 10% to secure the location and Venues pay 10% of the usage fee. Venue rental revenue belongs to the Venue; Salon earns only clearly disclosed service fees. Payments and Cancellation Terms are defined by Salon, see graph below:
